MOONBABY lookbook

My latest collection called Moonbaby was created durning the semester I spent at the London College of Fashion. I was inspired by London vibrant energy fueled by its intense diversity and its electronic music scene that constantly birthes new styles and genres. I tried to mix visual and musical inspirations. I wanted to recreate the atmosphere and excitement of the Moon Landing and Space travel. The hand made prints on the dresses are psychedelic space age motif filtered through contemporary electronic music. I wanted to create something that today’s young Barbarella would wear if she would go clubbing or to a music festival.

The lookbook was directly inspired by this classic movie, where the heroine gets into sultry, freaky adventures paired with an edgier, sharper comic book aesthetic.
